Coping with Illness
Grief and Bereavement
I specialize in mental health and well-being psychotherapy for attorneys, law students, and members of the judiciary. As a former attorney, federal judicial law clerk, law school mental health and wellness program administrator, law school career and professional development counselor, and adjunct law professor, I am uniquely qualified to serve those in the legal community.
Additionally, as a former national research and healthcare leader, patient advocate and caregiver for 25+ years, I help individuals and their loved ones navigate the challenges and opportunities presented to those living with chronic, life altering or terminal illness. For those dealing with bereavement and grief, I help clients cope with the many facets of loss and move towards healing, acceptance, and finding a renewed sense of meaning in life.
Services
Counseling
I provide teletherapy via Metro Psychotherapy & Counseling, a New York insurance-based, behavioral and mental health group practice built upon the values-driven standards of excellence and integrity of a family-owned healthcare business for the past 45+ years.* In-network and out-of-network insurance plans are accepted and affordable self-pay rates are available.
Coaching
I partner with individuals to develop a personalized coaching program specifically designed to unlock their full potential to achieve their unique goals and values. I assist clients to clarify their aspirations, identify obstacles, and develop actionable strategies to overcome challenges and create lasting change. Whether it's advancing in their careers, enhancing leadership skills, improving work-life balance, or pursuing personal development goals, I provide the guidance, accountability, and encouragement that empower clients to thrive and succeed. Individually tailored, solution-focused coaching is based on my extensive knowledge of positive psychology principles, neuro linguistic programming, and core transformation skills and strategies.
Consulting
As an experienced attorney, not-for-profit executive, healthcare advocate, higher education administrator, teacher, and recognized leader, I provide contract-based advisory and consultative services to public, private and non-profit organizations. Through a collaborative approach, I work closely with clients to assess their needs, analyze current practices, and develop innovative solutions in strategic planning, business development, organizational effectiveness, program development, and workshops/trainings.
